Born out of necessity, Squatch Rope is a high performance, lightweight, waterproof fire starter rope made from one of the most sustainable materials on the planet; hemp.
Waterproof - Yes, you can let the rope swim in a bowl of water, shave off some fibers, and light it right up with a match, lighter, or ferro rod.
Compact & lightweight - Weighing in at a little over an ounce, these ropes can go just about anywhere; keep them in your car, backpack, bug-out bag, survival kit or anywhere else handy.
Wind-resistant - Squatch Rope’s super flammable fibers catch a spark even in far-less-than-ideal conditions.
Easy to use - Just peel back the wrapper, shave off a bit of rope fibers, rub them between your palms, and hit it with a spark. If you can light a match, you can use Squatch Rope.
50+ fires per rope - All you need is a small ball of fibers to get a fire started, so one rope can easily last 50 fires or more.
Sustainable materials - Hemp fiber is one of the most sustainable materials known to mankind. It’s fast growing, requires minimal inputs, and helps clean the soils in which it grows.
How to Use
Peel - just peel back a bit of the plastic wrapper
Cut - slice or shave off a small one-eighth inch section of rope
Ball - rub the section of rope between your hands to fluff the fibers
Burn - place the fluff and ignite with a match, lighter, or ferro rod
